Privacy
This page covers this website and its news signup. It does not describe the AGI For Us software, which isn't released; how it works explains who can see what in a family's setup.
What the signup form keeps
When you leave your email address, we keep three things:
- your email address;
- the date and time you signed up;
- which page you signed up on (the home page or the News page).
Nothing else: no name and no phone number.
Where it is kept
In a Cloudflare D1 database in the project's own Cloudflare account. Cloudflare stores it as the host; the list is not shared with any other service.
We use your address only for AGI For Us news, and never sell it or give it to anyone else to use. No email has been sent yet, and none is sent automatically when you sign up.
Having your address removed
Write to hello@agi4.us from the address you signed up with, and we'll delete it from the list. Cloudflare keeps restore points of the database for 7 days, so for up to 7 days after that a restore point still holds it. Every email we send will also say how to unsubscribe.
The spam check
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile loads in your browser when the form comes into view and sends Cloudflare signals about the browser and the connection, including your IP address. Cloudflare describes what it collects in its Turnstile privacy addendum. We receive only a pass or fail.
Visitor statistics
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare says it "does not use any client-side state, such as cookies or localStorage" and doesn't fingerprint visitors. It tells us which pages were read and roughly from where, not who read them.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver each page.
